[bold]Changing the "Book Type" is only for +R media. Trying to set the booktype on -R media is a guaranteed coaster!

You are burning to close to the edge. Set it to burn to 4300

The burner is not seeing the blank media. Since you are using MCC that should be on the Sony OK List. The only thing I can think of is the burner does not like that brand so switch brands and see if that works. Make sure the cables inside the computer are seated properly

Car.Mike - [bold]DVD-R[/bold] will never show "Media Specific". Only DVD+R media will have "Media Specific" (AKA "Media Code").

@fema69 - as i've advised you in reply to one of your PM's, i'm having to request your other duplicate threads be closed. i am having a problem locating the correct thread to continue helping you and the PC i'm using does not have sufficient resource to open all your numerous duplicate Nero logs to figure out where we got to with your problem.

You need to cease with the constant multiposting. In addition to being very confusing for those trying to help you it's also against forum rules and can get you banned if you continue.

Consider this your first friendly warning ;)
