what is a "book-type" dvd, how does one make a back up "book-type" with nero?

    what is a "book-type" dvd, how does one make a back up "book-type" with nero? From what i understand book-tyoe dvds are most compatible across different dvd players. your help is greatly appreciated!

    your burner must be able to booktype first, booktype or bitsetting changes a dvd+r to dvd-rom which a standalone player will read just like a bought pressed disc.

    goto start, all programs, nero, nero toolkit, nero cd-dvd speed, click the extra tab, then click on bitsetting, and change how you want it.
