Nero Recode Overshoots DVD Size I have been playing around with Nero Recode 2 (as part of the Nero Digital Plus series) and have been having some problems with the program Option - (Remake a DVD) - when it comes to fitting the selected files to the Target Disk. I have the program set at (Fit To Target) and have selected (DVD-5). The files that I have added to the ADD List have a total combined size that is well within the limits of the programs ability to compress at high quality - with an analysis pass first. However, 3 times out of 4 the program will miss the Target Size (4.35 max) and end up at (4.39 or 4.40) The only recourse at that point is to run the resulting file through the re-code program a second time (using the Full Disk Option). When I do that, it finally gives me the compression that I need to fit the files to the disk (4.35). Is there any Knowledge Base available that might address this glitch in the program? - Mike -
where you select dvd-5, choose custom and set to 4300, i have done this many times and it works for me peace
