I have had mt burner for over a year now.. I STILL have yet to burn a DVD...I would like to burn home movies... back up DVD's ect.. im using Nero 6 Ultra Edition. I start copying DVD and it does.. then it asks me to place a blank DVD into the slot and I do.. it starts.. I walk again and come back and it always has the same message no matter what I am buring... Queuing failed...Burn process failed at 4x (5,520 KB/s)... I make slide shows with Windows Media player save it as a project.. then I can save it as a "movie file " to my hard drive and it becomes a "Windows Media Audio/Video File" -- this is what I mostly would like to do. But when I go to Nero and try to add the "Windows Media Audio/Video File" OR ".avi" it says "no compatable file found" . also some from another camera which are labled as "video clips" . Besides all that .. I have tried to copy old DVD's which are not encrypted... I shrink them and copy them to my Hard drive and then try and burn just the main movie... DVD shrink sends me right over to Nero - so they work together I guess?? I dont really know.. then It fails just like the rest. I am using a DVD - R to burn with as the guys @ Staples said that this is my "best bet". The Brand name is Verbatim.
