i've been using nero for a few days, burning a clip here and there to test out the different settings. i finally get the all the ratios and whatnot set the way i want it. ok, so now on to the menu. when i try to burn after enabling a menu, my burn fails about 15 seconds into the process with the error message "power callibration error." the only way i could get it to work was by checking the "simulate" box under the burn tab. but from every how-to guide i've seen on the net it says to leave that box unchecked. i'm currently waiting for the finished product using simulation, but some help regarding what the simulation option does or how to get my menu to work would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

„Power calibration error", „Focus servo failure", „Laser adjustment error", „Monitor ATIP error", „Write emergency" or „Spindle servo failure":

These are really bad hardware errors. Maybe using another brand of CDRs could help. If this doesn't help, then you'll probably need to have your recorder repaired.
