    I'm trying to comprehend your question here. I guess you're trying to back up your Naruto anime episodes onto a CD-R or a DVD-R blank. It all depends on how big is the files. If it's around 2 gb or over then I would recommend high quality media such as genuine Taiyo Yuden (and both including FUJI & SONY "Made In Japan"), Verbatim and Maxell "Made In Japan" which manufactured by Hitachi.

    In reality, if you want some good high quality media then stick with Yuden, Verbatim and Maxell, and you'll be square away.

    For PS2 games, you need to burn at 1x and use only the best media. As suggested before, only Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden and Maxell made in Japan. Sony and Fujifilm DVD+R 8x that are made in Japan are actually Taiyo Yuden. Those discs will guarantee you a good burn.

    Some PS2 games are actually on CD, so for those you can burn to a CD-R. Old blue back discs are CD and some newer games are the right size for CD. Some games have a lot of garbage files on them and are forced to be on a DVD9 disc.

    For Dreamcast games, you must use a CD-R. Dreamcast cannot read DVDs. However, to actually burn a Dreamcast game is pretty tedious. You will need to get software like Dreamrip and connect your Dreamcast to your PC. Then you will have to use the system as a ripper. After that, there is a chance that the games are larger than 700MB as Dreamcast uses Gigadisc Cds. You will have to figure out how to reduce the size of the game. Also, the data transfer speed of the dreamcast is limited to about 11kb/s so ripping a 1 gig disc can take up to one day. Also games that are multidisc like Shenmue will take a very long time.

    Your best bet will be to find an image online and download it. Then burn the game to a CD using a burning software and do not forget to get a boot disc.

    @BurnnGoku,

    I don't blame you either. However, you need to be more specific when asking question. You should have post this in the PS2 DVD backup forum instead, and I can assure you that you'll get more replies there.

    In addendum to your question about backing up your games on a CD-R or DVD-R, you have to know how big is the files in order to proceed. With that being said, if it's an original CD game, then yes... you can just back it up on a CD-R media. If it's an original DVD game, then you'll need to back up on a blank DVD-R/+R media. And sometimes it (the original game) is pressed on a DVD9 disc, then you'll have to rebuild the files (ISO) so it will fit onto a DVD5 blank (DVD-R/+R).

    I said; "In reality, if you want some good high quality media then stick with Yuden, Verbatim and Maxell, and you'll be square away."
    What I meant is if you value your back up copies and want them to last regardless if it's a DVD movie or PS2 games, then you need to back up on high quality grade media such as the famous Taiyo Yuden (including both FUJI & SONY "Made In Japan"), MAXELL "Made In Japan" and Verbatim (id code: MCC003, MCC004) only.
