OK here is the deal, I used linux installer with mechassault and did my softmod but there is just one really annoying thing. Since i did this now when i turn on my xbox via opening my dvd tray and leave it open it goes back to the linux screen for installing the mod and such instead of going straight to my Unleash X dashboard. I know that this is a small problem and also a good safety feature but it is so so so annoying to me anyway. Any suggestions?
You probably also see a Matrix Language screen and the a message comes up saying something like "you didn't put a disc in fast enough, reboot system blah blah blah... If you don't get that message (either way) that is the problem. For the system to load properly, the drive needs to be shut. A disc can be in it, but the drive has to be shut. Just be quick, ; )
It actually just says the main installer options. It says nothing about turn me back off or anything. It looks like the unleash x default skin yet it says Create backup, delete backup, Restore backup, install softmod, install evox, install Unleash x, Patch ms 59??, and so forth. I had a linux mod on the box before i upped the hdd but since i did and i modded it myself it now has this safety feature that is there, from what i can tell, to take the mod off. with the other mod i had before i could turn it on by opening the tray and it would auto load my evox dash. I really hope this makes since because i know it is possible because i had it before. i just want to know how to get it back this way. its not that i cant live with it like this it is just annoying since i am used to the other way. Any help would be good. THanks again.
