I recently (few months ago) had my XBOX modded and it worked fine since. Yesterday, when I tried turning it on, the light around the eject button went green then repeatedly flashes red and no picture came on the screen (no xbox logo, no dashboard, nothing). I am able to open the dvd drive without a problem but thats it. Anyone know what the problem might be and how to resolve??
^^^I'm guessing it was flashed properly, it was working for the few months since I had it done, it just yesterday stopped working for some reason. I never tried flashing it myself.
You may want to take it to someone near you that does mods. I had a guy bring me his and it had similiar issues as yours but no power. Across the internet, they call it a Coma Console. I had never heard of it. It involved a jumper wire beneath the motherboard that had to be resoldered. Your box would have to be taken apart but that just because of where you'd need to access it to solder the points underneath the motherboard. Once that's done it should be o.k. His was a v1.6 but I searched for hours after trying another power supply, checking to see if the transistor on the mb had been fried.
