Can anyone help me....I have a film that I got and I want to convert from an avi to dvd. I know exactly how to do it. One problem when I play this particular film in WMP there is no sound, the picture is perfect. This is my second time getting this film and still no sound. My volume is all the way up on my speakers and both WMP. I downloaded GSPOt codec information and ran the avi through there and it tells me that I have two codecs already installed that play the avi, as a result, the GSPOT render comes back fine. But still no sound? Can anyone help me with this issue??
hi have you tried VLC player its free or powerdvd? to test its not the apps. could try running the avi through divfix to check for errors alsoout of curiosity what apps are you useing to convert from avi to dvd? i use only 1 codec pack called k-lite MEGA pack v134
I am using winavi to convert and nero to burn. If I have no sound and run it through the converter, I am assuming there will be no sound on the burned dvd.
hi if the codecs arnt right then yes no sound on dvd, if the codecs are ok and when burnt it plays sound then its your pc sound card or wmp sound drivers it has its own i think
