Transferring Data off a DVR

    Hello, can anyone help me with transferring shows and movies that I have recorded on my Tivo onto my laptop without having to buy a video capture device for my laptop? I just want to have them available to watch when I travel, and to archive the football games of my teams that I record. Thanks for any advice :)
