dvds not recognized if i dont have "anydvd" on

    i downloaded the free trial of "anydvd" to burn dvds . and then since i did it the dvds only will be played if i have the anydvd program open . other way wont play with any other program like nero or media player os windvd. if someone can help me out i will apreciate it . thanks for read.

    to sergiovv-once you install and set up anydvd,let it run in the background and forget about it,it will always be there when you need it.

    I was having the same problems, I just unistalled the program and now problem is gone. the version I was having trouble is 5.2

    to sergiovv-i have anydvd version 5.4.1.1 installed and running all the time in the background and i can play a dvd using windows media player or power dvd player.you seem to have a conflict between programs you have installed.
