    Hello all.
    I have a problem.
Nero backitup writes to my DVD's at 16 x
    My media is 4 x I think.

Suprise suprise. I get some CRC errors when I do a restore.

How do I slow the burning speed?

    My burner is a Pioneer DVR-108. Firmware RPC1 1.14

    Regards
    Mark

Put that DVD into the drive before starting Nero.

    How would that help?

I tried with a CD and it wrote at 32 times.

    No option to slow down.

Because if you but disk into the drive before Nero is open, Nero will check what disk and it will give speed what are for that media.
If you but disk when you are ready to burn there are normail CD/DVD write speeds, and you cand change it there if it is not into the list.

Try open Nero InfoTool (disk in the drive) and try to change Write speed there.

    or

Options, Standard Tests, Set Write Speed = put here what you want

    Nope.
    Didn't help.
I am talking about Nero [bold]Backitup[/bold]
    Not the Nero Burning ROM.

Still no option to change burning speed.
Nero Infotool is just a infomation program. It doesn't change software settings.
