    Hello:
I am experiencing bad audio playback on my DVD player. I have 2 units installed. A Mad Dog Burner and a Sony DDU1621 DVD player. Both units are set to cable select. The upper unit is the Mad Dog, it plays the audio of DVD's and audio just fine. The lower unit is my Sony DVD player which I recently installed in an attempt to fix problem. A Toshiba unit experiencing the same audio problems was original installed. Both units ( other than the Mad dog)play a skippy audio both just music cd or during DVD playback. Trying to find help in resolving problem. I am only connected via the ribbon cable on both units.

    Thank you,

I set the IDE to DMA and it did not resolve my problem. I still have to set one to master and the other to slave to see if that fixes it.
    Thanks
