hi l,ve just joined this site, am l right in saying this is a free site and what is free to download and what is not.Nero 6 is this free to download for making movies from dv camcorder to computer to disc, if so how can l get this or any software that will do this.thanks
No not all software is free some include a free trial period (ex. 14 days) after that you must purchase the software or delete it. Unfortunatly Nero 6 is one of those softwares. You can purchase Nero OEM software very cheap just search(Nero 6 OEM) and find the cheapest in which I think is like 5 bucks it will come with a serial# then you go to the Nero web site and purchase the full edition for about 20% less. For what you are trying to do you may not need the full version.
I forgot to mention you can use windows movie maker to burn your home movies. Go to start> all programs> Windows movie maker.
