Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

Read more about the update and let us know what you think!

Please check out the guides here using various programs - http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/

Alternatively, you could go by the guide I made: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45238

@Monster18,

Welcome.... for newbies, I highly recommend DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink -- yes, you can download it from here at AD.com. DVD Decrypter is still the king so far, it still decrypt and rip any of the encrypted protected dvds flawlessly at this moment. All you need is DVD Decrypter to rip and decrypt into your hard drive (using either Mode, ISO, READ R, or Mode, File F) your choice of preference. Once that process is done, then have DVD Shrink do the encoding/compressing so it can fit onto a single layer 4.7GB DVD-R/+R disc. Once you're done with DVD Shrink, just back it up with DVD Decrypter again. (NOTE: there's a setting inside DVD Shrink and you can set so your Target backup will be DVD Decrypter -- this will automatically burn with DVD Decrypter once DVD Shrink is done.)

First rip with DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 in "File" mode. Then open the files up with VobBlanker, and "Blank" out the unwanted titles, then process with DVD Shrink (or similar).
