I downloaded a 13 part series that was encoded with divx. They are about 800 mb's each. When I convert a file to dvd (using Dvdsanta or Super video convertor) the files are about 3.5 gigs. I would like to compress these files enough so that I can get at lease 2 on 1 dvd, and play them on a stand alone dvd player. I've tried search and I've been serching the forums (REALLY) and I don't have a clue how to do this, or even if it can be done. Could someone help please? Also, I don't have a dual burner (and with the price of gas can't afford the discs anyway).

If you've already converted them, then you might try this guide:

I'm not sure what the quality of the video will be like in the end though. If the quality is still pretty good after encoding them to DVD from divx, then you might be ok. But if it's already fuzzy then compressing it won't help any.
