Nero v 16 reboots my pc when i click on copy

I downloaded nero v 16 installed on to pc everything worked fine , but when i try to copy a cd click on copy the moment it reboots my pc, so please help me how to sort this out.

just found this thread, I've got a similar problem with nero express, didn't see your post before I added mine- keep an eye on it as any replies may help you

I have managed to sort out my (possibly) similar problem- I had DVD43 installed on my pc- once I removed it no more problem.

I have a similar problemwith Nero.I installed Nero on my comp last night and for some reason when I put my computer on standby it comes out of standby within seconds.I don't know how to fix this problem because when I redo my computer the problem leaves but when I install Nero again the problem comes back.This completely bites because now I really can't use Nero without having to redo my computer all over again.Does anyone know how to remedy this problem?

 

as gazzad said above if you have dvd43 it conflicts with nero,only when you click copy/burn uninstall and away you go.try and disable dvd 43 first before removing it,if no joy then remove and reboot then nero will work.

 

same thing too if you have roxio installed. nero and roxio fight each other. if so, uninstall roxio, and if you have the full version of nero, use nero tools and delete in cd. you dont need it at all. and as far as your updates, nero 7 will be out soon, but only do the first 2 major updates in nero. also, uninstall nero with nero tools, run a search in windows to make sure all files are deleted and reinstall again. see if it fixes your problem.
