hi my name is Emily and i know absolutely nothing about technology and stuff but i have an xbox because i really like playing video games. it isn't modded and i was just wondering if there was any way to burn games to a dvd without having a modded xbox and all that stuff. i figure the answer is no because in everything i looked at about burning xbox games you need a modded xbox. i just want to burn games because im currently jobless and poor so yeah i just want some new cheap games. please dont think im really stupid or anything. i just don't know anything at all about this stuff and this is the first site i came across to post on.

What your talking about is piracy and the frum rules explicitly say no talking about piracy. On the other hand, if you want to back up games, the only way possible is to have a modded xbox. Your two choices are to softmod your xbox or get a chip. Personally i think getting a chip is easier. But the only reason you need a modded xbox is to get access to the xbox through ftping. The MS dash doesn't allow you to do this.

Uh oh, Halo 2 caught on fire! I'm burning an Xbox game, literally. :) and I didn't even go off topic.
