i'm using a pioneer dvd writer 106d in an external usb2.0 case. i know it's 2.0, i have the latest firmware, etc... my problem is when burning a dvd-r, the buffer is at only 10% and burining takes about 1 hr at 4x. when buring a dvd-rw at 2.4x, the buffer jumps between 10% and 90%. does anyone have any ideas as to what this is? i've checked the DMA. there is no DMA selection for usb drives that i can find. thanks.
also, pls post LAST section of your Nero logfile, which is in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log, but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar..
