Embedding Subtitles to AVI

    Hey Can anyone tell me step by step how to add subtitles to an AVI so that im able to burn it to a disc(meaning when burnt the disc works on a dvdplayer along with its subtitles)

    like can someone tell me what program they used to do this and tell me in steps how to? id really appreciate it

    I just burn the avi and subs to disc, but you mean for a regular player? If so then you need to convert to DVD video, either with hard encoded subs or authored with subtitles.

    rgr i got it working :)

    i used WinAVI to convert the AVI/Subs to MPEG,then once the MPEG was done it had the Subs embedded in it. So i used DVD Santa to convert to DVD and burn and it runs perfectly on my dvd player and the subs work :)

    Not possible to not have since MPEG2 is lossy and they converted twice.
