Games are gone

This is the second time this has happened in the last 3 months. I am playing Pariah, and i'm about 1/2 way thru the game, and yesterday, wham! all the saved games are gone. When I start it, it's from the beginning........... Then I have Syberia on there too, same thing. It won't start, I have to uninstall and re install it. And that is from the beginning.....Then.....I have Acronis imager....Imaged "D" drive which is where the programs are about a couple months ago...and the image of that drive...(of all drives)....is corrupt....
any thoughts? Yet "C" drive image is fine.....strange
