Something I was looking for and relized didn't exist! There should be a Linux forum, or just a plain old OS forum. Linux in continually growing, and alot of people dont like old Gates. Just an idea...

Another suggestion...doesnt really relate but didnt want to make a new thread, when you edit a post, it takes you back to the very first page. Should take you back to the post you just edited.

well a plain OS thread is probably to vague. However I do think we need a Windows OS and Linux OS forums, since the only general software forum is under the video category.

you'd need very patient moderators for Linux, Linux is a very emotive subject (there are lots of Linux people out there who are infinitely more defensive of Linux than people who are defensive about using bad DVD media, for instance). I work in the Solaris world and the Unix forums/places i frequent don't suffer from those 'Linux-defender' attitudes, you just get good old detailed technical help. Google groups are unmoderated so get annihilated by idiots so you have to look hard for genuine technical help

I sorta object the idea for us to wander into "generic tech help" forum category. But I do agree that a Linux DVD / DVD ripping / digital video forum is something that we need.
