Surprised the experts haven't picked up on this thread. I know your DMA has to be turned on and your using a poorly regarded grade of media.

I tried turning dma on with one of the guides someone linked on this forum. it was on multi-world dma 2 and i tried to change it to ultra dma 2, when I rebooted it was the same, hadn't changed. The link to 1.22 firmware doesn't exist. (nasa.com.au?) I selected non-multisession. I reinstalled WinXP and the Nvidia drivers (done it 8 times in 2 days keep forgetting to do something ) Its a regular Iomega internal drive. And...Only thing left is these apparently shitty Memorex disks...well off to buy more...What would you all suggest as good?
