Ive done everything in this guide and tried everything you guys said im going through a router with the right cables and it always says.......... [R] Connecting to 192.168.1.104 -> IP=192.168.1.104 PORT=21 (attempt # 3) [R] Connection failed (Connection timed out) [R] Delaying for 120 seconds before reconnect attempt #4 how do i fix this??? please i have been working on this for weeks
basically there if u calim to be doing everything right the problem u are facing is that the connection u have set up isn't working. Make sure u have the DCHP enabled on the computer and Xbox....and if there is an option on ur dash IE:unleashx then u have to enable FTP. And check to make sure u are certain that it is the correct IP adress and password are correct....Also if u are a hardmodder try booting to the bios on the chip.....and make sure DCHP is enabled and try FTPing while booted to ur chip using the IP seen on the screen.....and check on the chip settings to see what the deafult FTP pass is....if using an X3CE the pass is normally X3....but i'm assuming it varries from chip to chip. So do the follwing. 1. Check your dash board settings make sure DCHP is enabled and you have FTP enabled. 2. Check to make sure you don't have a firwall on ur network....Try opening ports on ur router. 3. Check IP and Password and try booting to a chip (IF U HAVE ONE) and chnage the settings there.
