problem buring movie w/ nero

never had this problem before...i have a toshiba oss-dvd sd-r6252. firmware is updated. operating on current version of nero.
error message comes up before anything starts burning "burn process failed at 2.4x"
video files converted to dvd files with vso divxtodvd
any help will be appreciated.
