great little cam for general use, been using it for a while then left for a few months now i come to use it again on my laptop wich i have used if on before and it will not capture camera i fine as tried it on another pc, firewire is fine as i connects fine. ive been using pinnacle studio 9 and on the capture option, i click start capture and the tape starts rolling but there is no preview showing and the video dosnt save windows movie makes just chucks up an error on clicking capture is it something to do with sp2, i cant get rid of it as this is integrated into windows any sugestions would be most welcome thanks
I had the same problem for a while, the firewire and USB cable/ports do not connect well at all. After a while I can find a balance and make sure the cable doesnt move, and the connection allows a transfer to pc. The firewire seemed to work better, but I can now get both to work knowing the problem. It will connect at first,but soon after it disconnects but doesnt really let you know. Good Luck, it is an art form.
