I bought a 4 pack of FujiFilm, DVD-RW, Made in Singapore, discs a while back... used the first 2 in the pack to record Backup files from my HDD, no problems...

No i'm attempting to use the last 2, I install one in the NEC like usuall... and it reads it and reads it and reads it... the processor is using 90% to read it as well... this lasts for about 4 minutes. Then it finally stops trying to read it. I go into MyComputer, it dosent seem a disk in the drive, i open up Nero, it dosent see a disk in the drive either. I can not Erase the CD-RW in Nero because it dosent see it.

What is the problem with these 2 discs when the other 2 in the box were perfectly fine?

    Thanks all!

    Try updating your firmware.

Also, you could just have "bad" discs. Usually, most people around aD will tell you to only get media that says "Made in Japan".

    Good Luck!
