Ok i am currently trying to connect a network bridge between my Pc and Xbox. I know roughly what to do but it doesn't seem to work :( everytime i try and connect to live it comes up with this:

NO DNS severs were received from the DHCP or PPoE server. Enter DNS server(s) provided by your ISP in the network settings menu. Please go to www.xbox.com/connect for more info.

I will tell you what i have:

    1 PC
    1 Xbox
    1 USB Modem (A speed touch 530)
    1 Crossover cable

And this is how its setup:

Xbox connected to PC's ethernet port (i think) the slot at the back of my PC with 3 Pc's linked together via a CAT5 crossover cable. (it is near the USb ports). Then from there i have a USB cable from my PC to my USB modem and then from there the it is connected to the phone line. If i'm right this is what is neede but still i get no respnse from my Xbox, i have tried setting up a network with it using the XP guide but right at the end i get an error message saying it couldn't be completed! I have seen that people say they are using NIC cards but do i really need this?

    PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!
