    Hi,
I am very new at this so I would prefer a basic step-by step guide.

I got aload of dvd-r's from this guy and the films are japanese and french. (not my language)

On the discs he has put the film in avi and a subtitle document.

I have dragged the movie and the subtitle document onto my desktop but I want to burn the subtitles onto the image and then convert them into an avi file (so I can burn them onto a DVD disc) so I can watch them on my dvd player.

the discs the man gave me will not play on my dvd player (due to them bieng divx)

is there any software that does all this at once (converts divx file and burns subtitles at the same time)

Could you please reply to this post and and not redirect me to a help page, I have searched all over for them and they only give me a certain amount of help.

I would be most grateful if someone had an easy option as of how to do this.

    many thanks

    -Anthony

I already tried it, but found no luck.

I did use avi2dvd and it works well but it takes forever to convert.

there must be a faster method out there.

    thanks anyway gamename
