    Hi all.

Just a quick enquiry - has anyone got, or does anyone know how to get menu's into their dvd rips etc...

I am using #1 DVD Ripper, that allows me to manipulate the bitrate calculator in DivX 6 codec, and it will also rip subtitles straight to the movie, but I can't get a menu to allow me to skip to different chapters.

Apparently it can do it? DivX converter doesn't work, keeps on about mpeg2 plug-in (which I have) or AC3 filter not present, which is wrong - I think that is a bug in the DivX Converter software.

Anyone help, I use a Buffalo Linksatation to stream DivX files to my Buffalo Linktheater, which works brilliantly, but I would like the option of chapters.

    Cheers all.

Does the device have DivX Ulitimate or whatever certification? If not then menus won't work anyway.

No - the Linktheater doesn't at present have `ultimate`, it's just the standard DivX certificate, it does support VOD which is quite funky - but that's completely off topic.

I don't know of any that support this new format yet, but it's firmware is upgradeable so maybe it'll be in the future, which leads me back to my question?!?

How to get menu's in divx file? (whilst ripping the dvd, not afterwards with 12 programs and 6 hrs of work)
