    HI,

i have searched forums and webpages for solutions but i thought id try and get a direct answer if thats possible?

I have nero vision express version 3.1.0.7

i have tried to burn 2 avis (7oomb each) to make a dvd.

but for some reason, the sound is always out of sync on one of the files. its fine when i play it through pc, its just after the burn through nero.

i have tried various things such as turning off " smart encoding" and ive set the sound to stereo but that doesnt work. I have also tried tools to convert the original files to mpeg, but they either take too long, or lose quality and framerate. ive also tried the following software.

"dixtodvd" good but splits the film into number of vob files instead of one movie.

"TMPGEnc" wont let me insert avi file for audio so i have no sound and the movie is huge and jerky!

i dont know what im doing wrong and after reading, it seems to be just a bad glitch with nero? i dont have an older version to roll back to so does anyone know any decent easy software or reccomendations on what i can do with nero to stop the sound going out of sync?

I really appreciate any help please!!

    thanks!!

    Chunkus.

The number of vob files may be one movie. Use nero vision and pick make dvd from dvd compliant files on your hard drive. Then just add the folder with your .vob's

First view the vob's and make sure the video is in sink on them

I am also seeing this same problem with NERO 6. AVI plays fine on PC. Convert it to DVD VIDEO and Ihave lip sync issues.

    Any clues?

    Hi there,

I think all DVD software will split movies into 0,99mb files, since DVD players can not read files bigger than 1gb.

I have read this somewhere, can someone confirm this is true ?
I will read up on it !

Found this in an other forum:

    Thanks...
