error 23 help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep geting error 23 or if i try to play a game i get dity dics

 

So your getting an error 23 when you start up you Xbox w/out a disc, but you get a dirty disc error when you start up your Xbox w/ a disc in?

Well, do you have your system modified in any way?

You're Xbox drive's laser may need to changed, or tweaked in order for it to read Xbox games again.
