   I wanted to know what software can you use to burn movies, and then they work on your PS2 with out a mod chip.

   PS2's will play +R media, I know mine does.
   
   You only need a modchip for playing backed up games, not movies.
   
   Just use DVD Shrink and Nero or your favorite DVD burning program to burn them.
