Burning Prob On Last .avil File

    I am using Nero version 6.6.0.16. It burns fine for audio files but when I am burning .avi files (just to play back on the laptop) I am finding that the final file (say a TV series with 18 files) won't open when I try to play it and just freezes up. I play them back on Windows Media Player 10.

    Is there anything better I can use? I haven't been converting them to playback on a DVD player as I was told that it takes hours to convert the files.

    Is there anything I should/can do to rectify this? I seem to be wasting loads of DVD-Rs!

    If it wont play at all, you've either got a bad file or you are missing a codec.
