I recently bought a dual layer burner, Sony DRU-800A. I am trying to copy some episodic dvds. I've tried DVD X Platinum, DVDFab, DVDecryptor, DVD95Copy Pro, DVD Cloner, DVD Remake, DVDShrink, IFO Edit, Nero, AnyDVD, DVD43, etc. I've wasted 15 DVD+R DLs; not cheap!

Either the dvd comes out unreadable, or there's no sound, or the menus don't work, or it won't even start to burn. And even when I get a picture (almost never with sound), the quality is terrible.

PLEASE, HELP! (Sorry for yelling. I'm just so frustrated)

Are you trying to burn whole dvds (i.e. with Audio_TS and Video_TS folders) or video files (e.g. avi, mpeg)?

I'm trying to copying the DVD and leave out trailers, warnings, etc.
In some of the more commercial programs I've tried (e.g. DVD X Platinum, I Copy DVDs 2), you don't deal with the directories just titlesets. With others you only deal with the VOB files. Unfortunately, my results are equally disappointing either way.

For editing and keeping just the parts I want from a movie, I use ImToo DVD Ripper.
