I bought a computer with a DVD burner, but every time I try to copy one, there's a copyright protection and I can't copy it. What's the best way around this? What is the best program to use to copy these DVDs? I would appreciate any help!

    Thanks!

Hi donchin, to do a back up copy of DVDs that you own I suggest you download a program called DVD Decrypter, its free and works really well. I trust you have a reputable burning proggy

    hi

as gwendolin says is good advice, but you will need an app like dvd shrink to compress to fit dvdr's of 4.38gig size too...

also with dvd decrypter some films are hard to rip, so alot here use anyDVD to aid ripping well DvdD is doing its job!

dvd shrink can output to DvdD and burn both these appsa re free anyDVD has a trial version...
