I've tried a couple things, but can't seem to make either of these conversions work correctly.

I can rip VOB's to my HDD, but need to be able to edit them. How can I convert them to uncompressed AVI's???

When I convert .mov to .avi. It works, but I get all these black blocks throughout the video, they appear to have something to do wit the compression, but I can't seem to convert the video without those appearing. Any ideas???
