i have just mistakenly bought a serial ata western digital wd800 drive then i had to get a pci serial ata adapter now my big problem has arisen I can install windows ME but not xp as the raid drivers arent on the xp disk although they are on the me disk XP gives me the option of installing the drivers via floppy but i do not have a floppy on my pc. So i wanted to know how to make a windows iso which will include my drivers for my ata card . I have tried to copy the winxp drivers to the I386 folder and reburned it but it still didnt find my drive so do i need the dos drivers or the working me drivers or what any quick help would be appreciated.
i have tried putting the drivers intended for winxp into the i386 folder of my winxp installation cd but still nothing it would be pointles just putting the drivers onto cd as windows only wants a floppy disk
no as it is still at the dos part of the install i press F6 to install drivers then it says to insert driver disk in floppy drive a: hasve also triedwindows server 2003 with no success either which i think is a little strange cause me installed fine
