Question about using Action Replay for softmods

Can it be an Action Replay Max? Or do I need the original? I'm going to use it for custom games on Halo 2.

Also, can I just download the Action Replay software from the codejunkies.com?

 

do you want to mod you xbox or do you just want the hexed stuff. If you want to mod,you have to find the software in special places. But if you want to mod the xbox with splinter cell, mechassault, or 007, you need to use the original the action replay max corrupts the lizux and stuff. But if you just want the certain gametypes you oculd use anyone. (be more specific with what you want to do with action replay. If anyone knows how to fix a dashboardless xbox thatn cannot boot games or anything please help me!!!!!

1. No, Action Replay Max does NOT corrupt files, and you can use it.

2. You can mod with Action Replay Max, if you have one of three games. The original Splinter Cell, Mech Assult, or 007: Agent Under Fire. These games have glitches in their coding that allows external software to be installed from game saves, so you can install different dashboards. From there, you FTP to your XBOX, and you can mod the maps.

I get that but people have gave me websites and links to download the file for 007:agent under fire....( thats the game i have) and I download it, and then I try to drag it over to my action replay max screen and it says "this is not a valid abox save". What do I do?

 

When you install linux then what do you do. someone said go to "run linux" but were is that.please help!!!!!!

 

I am planning on buying action replay. I wanna know how to use action replay to mod Halo 2. I wanna know what action replay can let me do on halo 2, will it allow me to change what a gun shoots? paint levels? Change the function of vehicle? Well sum1 plz, I'm cofused...

 

When you softmod your xbox, u make it durable to mod other games. When/if you mod halo 2, people like to CHEAT IN MATCHMAKING.....there are many MODS you can downlaod.....for example...auto head aim.....walk super fast....every jump is a super jump.....flying warthogs...etc. MODDING IN CUSTOM GAMES IS REALLY FUN....but i understand if your a newb and you need to get your rank up so you look good.....but yeah, also when you softmod your xbox...u make a new dashboard...unleashed X or evolution X....when u have one of those dash boards, you know your xbox is softmodded....this means you can do other stuff like play burtn games download songs off of burnt cd's....IM WARNING (YOU, if you go on live with a modded xbox you can get banned or suspended.... I havent modded my xbox yet but from reading about 1,000,000,000 tutorials i think i know anoph about softmodding.) One more thing, you can riun your xbox if you mess up in the prosses, error 21 and 16 are very commen.....P.S you will need 007: Agent Under Fire, Mechassult, or Splinter cell, all original....
Don't follow my instructions without reading other peoples tutorials...i don't have expericance modding i havent done it yet...and i made a long tutorial short...there is some more to it... i am going to have my friend MOD MINE

 

Mod65 trust me, I have morals, using mods in matchmaking is really unfair. I want it just to mess around with. Do you have a AIM so I can ask you a few questions? that would help me a lot!! thankx,

Ok, I have a very big problem, I would like to softmod my xbox, (to make it durable to mod other games (Halo 2). now, I have recently obtained action replay max, and the disk will not read in my XBOX. [bold]I think this is a very bad thing, if it isn't, please send me an email with directions as to what I need to do[/bold]my email is [bold]removed[/bold] I am utterly confused about what to do, plz help Ü

 

Ok, so I figured out the disk problem, its a PC disk not for XBOX. I feel like a moron, but oh well. Now someone plz send me an email with detailed instuctions, the ones posted are like for people who know waht to do. My email is posted above, I'll try to find stuff out but plz send me directions as I feel like a 7-year old doing brain surgery with a monkey wrench. thank you.

Latest update, I have installed AR-max into my computer, and have copied "PROFILE_LINXUS" (splintercell 1)from the action replay memorycard, onto my xbox hard drive, so all I need is the rest of the steps, unless I figure out more. Send me an email at [bold]removed[/bold] thanx

 

aight, so, I figured out what the hell I was doing, got xbins via mIRC and FlashFXP, and used it to get install linux. Now how do I use it to softmod my xbox, I went to camapian, then selected checkpoint, didnt work I'll try levels, but If anyone knows, i would appreciate it.
