I can't figure this out. I have a new amd with a gig of ram 160 gig of hard drive and I can't get nero to burn at the speed it was burning the same CDs on my old computer.
I have an online business where I sell the old Radio shows in mp3 and the old movies in Vcd. On the old computer I could burn 650 megs in 2:30 on the new computer this same disk will burn in about 3:40. This is frustrating with large orders it takes what seems like forever.
Does anyone know how to set this up to burn at max speed.
    Thanks
    Mike

hi mikeb56 firstly you have got a new computer but it doesnt mean the firmware is up to date so check that out first and also check burner speed to your old one new sometimes doesnt mean faster

    Hi mybarras
    Thanks for the reply.
I have used these same TDK 52 speed burners on 2 other computers, this is the 3rd and never had this problem before. Sometimes it would burn a disk slower than normal but all I had to do would be to reboot the computer and all was well again.
With regard to firmware, I did check with TDK and there is no other update for this burner. Before I go out and buy two more external usb 2.0 burners I need to try to resolve this if possible.
    Thanks
    Mike
