    hi

so its just iso read then iso write (no compressing etc?)

    sounds bad disc then?

    try another drive to copy?

or if no protection copy paste video ts folder to HD!

    hi

i think we need to clarify whats going on here for me and for you, ok

you cant rip a copy to your hard drive? is this the case?

i would try cleaning the disc or look for scratches on it etc?

if it wont rip from one dvdrw drive do you have another dvdrom drive in your pc to try ripping from?

when i mentioned copy and paste - load the dvd-copy in a dvd drive then go to my computer and try copying the video ts folder from there to your hard drive! not useing an app, just copy and paste!

also you could try useing nero burning rom on copy on the fly and ignore read errors (disc to disc)

or even try nero on making an NRG instead of iso file

rotary, the disc i am trying to copy plays well in my dvd.its a copy i got from my friend, to day i try to do a copy with dvd shrink, and this is what came up at 94% analysing:
THE WRONG DISKETTE IS IN THE DRIVE INSERT %2 (VOLUME SERIAL NUMBER :%3 ) INTO DRIVE %1.
just to answer your question i have a dvd rom, cd rewriter, dvd /rw in my computer. i cleaned this disc and it did not help.! the same error comes up, in some other copies he gave me, and they do play well in my dvd.

Alot of times bootlegs are on VERY poor media. Who does DVD Decrypter say the media manufacturer ID is?

I assume you've ticked Ignore Read Errors/Zero Retries in settings?
