    Hi,

I'm trying to copy Fr. Ted Season 1 from DivX to DVD going by one of the tutorias on this forum and after 30 hours I have come up with nothing acceptable.

First off I Joined all 6 episodes using VirtualDubMod and then joined and sync'd the subtitles so I had 2 single files for AVI2DVD to accept (as it does not seem to accept multiples). SO far so good and on to the encoding process - I followed this to the letter and confident that my settings were okay loaded the job and hit 'go' using the HCEnc encoder.

After a 20 hour wait I'm disgusted with the result. The DVD is good quality, the subtitles are there and in sync but the damned result is only 14 minutes worth (420 mb) of what should be a full 2hrs 30 min worth of entertainment.Anyone got an inkling of what the f*** happened here? Am not about to burn the resultant iso to disc as it's not what I was after and would be a complete waste of a disk.

Please can anyone help with this? - offer an explanation as to what became of the remaining 2 1/4 hrs........

    Thanks in advance
