yes, the .dvd file has the layerbreak info and the image filename...open it in notepad & you'll see what I'm talking about.
i open the file with the notepad how you sad and it opened

i know how to copy xbox 360 games
But how do you copy a copied xbox 360 game!
I thought i was clever and i burnt the image and a dvd file to a blank dual layer, but when i come to dump it on my hDD i always get! the error cyclic redundancy check, which i understand means that the file is corrupt, but the game plays ok so!!! what happened.
tryed to copy it in alcohol, but no joy and with Nero also!
this has blown my mind ! can anyone help please as i do not want to D***load the game again!!!!!!!

i know how to copy xbox 360 games
But how do you copy a copied xbox 360 game!

have tryed using clone cd and loading the dvd file in again to recognise the layer break, but not worked twice will have anither go though, but any idiot proof guides or suggestions wuold be most gratefuk

do thanks by johny 5[/quote]hey bud, simply use clonecd.. click "Write from Imagefile" <second button from the left> and load the .dvd file when it asks for the file.. it'll burn.. then play. :))
the .dvd file basically works as a cue or bin file.. it tells clone cd the information it needs to burn the layerbreak and what file to refer to for the ISO information. when you attempt to burn the .dvd file with clonecd.. clonecd will know which file to get the game from and where to insert the layerbreak. dont worry, it'll burn the entire game.

no and all i have on a dual layer is a data file of the image and one of the dvd file .
does anybody know if i can use these to burn the game again.

try using xbox backup creator to dump the game again.. then burn it to another dl

the game im putting in is burnout revenge, i have the matching ss bin. the problem is when i put the game iso and try to generate the md5 file it gives me all these error messages saying it could not connect blah blah

lol... uhhm, you need to have .net framework 2 installed. install that give it another shot, and let me know if it works. ;) but, it should.

Hey guys i also get a data connection error even after dumping the image about ten times all different ways and that stupid database conncetion error still comes out im tryin to backup my new Rainbow Six Las Vegas game, con somebody PLEASE help me; ive tried turning off my firewall, everything that i could think of and still doesn't work maybe im dumping the image incorrectly : insert 8gig movie-stop drive-hotswapp for the game- spin drive- find magic number- change the to CDD- and then dumping the image, if tried it all different ways that i found online, but i still cant get passed that error PLEASE HELP THANKS!!!!!

Just had a Question about NewsDemon.com the first post had mentioned about it and I was just wondering what this site is all about. would it be like a bittorrent site eg. mininova or torrentreactor or is it something way different that doesn't let you download Xbox 360 games or any game and movie for that matter thanks in advance

no, it's a usenet (newsgroup) provider, nothing like bittorrent, MUCH better IMHO ;)
