walshy you will have to remove your number before a mod does as its against forum rules. Unfortunately I can only go so far apologies.
To edit your post click the notepad icon to the top right of the post and delete the number. I am only saying this as you dont want your number getting into the "wrong" hands.
I really do have to leave now as up early.

Your box should update itself once the new firmware is installed.
Well it didn't. I waited maybe 10 minutes for it to do so and then I just went ahead and put in the keys. Am I right in thinking N*L are still changing keys regularly, so since my Eurovox has been unscramblng OK since Sunday then I'm in the all clear?

Hi
Can anyone help me am in a bad way I have the software for eurovox dowloaded but my PC wont recognise the cable,it worked fine for Starview but wont let me download.Do i need another cable I am using the cream 232 cable.

What firmware have you put on it? The 10/04 or the 18/04 ? The 18/04 updates quicker apparently, but if it is working fine I would leave it as it is.

When you click download Screen says com1 com2 com3 com4 i click com1 then message says waiting for the response from your receiver.Help

Bosco , if you used this cable on a SV it should work on the EV
Make sure you have it connected tight and you have the b0x on STANDBY

sorry what i meant was that most of the clones boxes that people have talked about seem to be the blue ones as they are much older. did not mean to say that all blue boxes are cloned

hi, ive just go a new eurvox max v 2008 and it is stuck in standby mode, with 4 dashes on the screen. i have tried the software linked at the beginning of this thread, and when i try o download the firmware using it i get a message saying "system reset..." and it doesnt appear to d'load anything!? any ideas or help would be appreciated! thanks

when it says 'system reset' pull power cord from back of box and put it back in.. If it still dosnt work , it sounds like a board has gone, thats why its stuck on standby.
its a new box and this sometimes happens with the boards...send it back !

Make sure u know what type of clone u have
ie blue, red etc.
If its blue goto http://www.4shared.com/dir/3171750/940dba0e/sharing.html
and download 'EVMAX_BLUE_160408_CORE_140207.rar '
find it in eurovox-latest firmware-clones..

Hey guys i just bought a C4L 2m DB9 -DB25 Null Modem Cable(SL-902) ..Is that cable the right null modem cable to use to start flashing.I had to go for a 25 pin because my PC on has a 25pin port!

afternoon all,
Have read through all threads I can find but having problem with Eurovox Max V 2008 with NTHELL in Dublin.
I disconnected cbl and upgraded flash to 2.1 Eurovox Max 5 Kuro V3 final 18 April. Restored factory defaults se codes to
5401
61 F6 OB 92 5D 63 AC F2
5C E9 3B 1A 4F 01 10 FF
Did powerscan at 6.887 and 6.875 but still have no channels at all, had 20 standard channels before firmware upgrade so worse off than ever. Can anyone help

Have you tried downloading Scousers channel dump and transfering it to your EV which has ALL ch@nnels installed?
