    - EDIT OUT your serial numbers

    - not too bad, latest is 6.6.0.16

    - firmware is out of date by a few versions [bold]IF[/bold] you bought this burner separately from the PC, 1.58 is here - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2017 otherwise, [bold]IF[/bold] your burner came with a Medion PC, then it's up to date. make sure you know which of the drives you have..

    - DMA needs to be ON, fix via this - http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm

    - for info, make sure you close down as many programs as you can prior to all burns in order to have sufficient free memory

    - oh dear, those are some of the most atrocious utter rubbish discs money can buy, and you bought them!. buy decent media such as in my signature, i'm not sure i'd trust these discs even just for mp3 storage, certainly not for important data or movies. Actually if i was storing mp3's on them and i didn't want to lose them, i definitely wouldn't use CMC Mag discs

    - see previous comment

    - you're torturing those awful discs at 12x with DMA being off, try a lower speed
