Hi - I picked up an HP DVD740e the other day and got around to trying my first double layer burn.

I used DVD Decrypter and did a straight ISO mode read/write with the speed at 2.4X. Using a Memorex DVD+R DL blank. Everything goes fine until I suspect i reach the layer crossover and then everything just stops. By stops I mean Decrypter is sitting there counting away time elaping, but the writing has stopped at 4,218,888,000 bytes and 2,060,000 sectors. No error messages.... nothin'.

Like I reached a stop sign and waiting for the other driver to proceed. Any suggestions on how to proceed.

I have been reading the other forums and see the negative opinions on Memorex DL, but got it as it was the cheapest local 3-pak I could find to test with before ordering a larger quantity. I already made coasters of the first two, i suspect on my own messing around, but this has me perlexed.

    Thanks.
