i searched all over for a way to do this but to no avail. i have Nero 6. i tried making a copy of a DVD using Nero recorder 2. before i start i get the encryption error. is there a way or a program to bypass this encryption built in Nero? i used to use shrink and dvd43 before the crash over the summer but i really didnt want to use these programs if i didnt have to. One other question. when using shrink ( if i have to use it again) does it burn a DVD straight to DVD or does it move it to the _ts folder then to DVD? thanks for the help.
The only way to bypass encryption is to either rip to your hard drive with DVD Decrypter, DVD Fab Decrypter, or DVD Shrink. You can also use AnyDVD or DVD43 running in the background and then burn with Nero. Shrink just encodes and rips it does not burn for that you need a burning program such as Decrypter or Nero. Shrink will automatically burn with these programs, or put it in a folder so you can use another program to burn.
