Firstly I'd like to thank the guys at afterdawn for answering all my newbie questions and not making me fell like an idiot, thanks y'all. Now hopefully this'll be the last problem I'll have for a while as I'm starting to get the gist of this stuff. I have a movie that is split into three parts, the first Lord of the rings film to be specific so it is rather large. I was able to piece the movie together and successfully burn them however the audio starts doing strange thing about half way through, it goes from speaking so fast that the characters sound like mosquitoes to being completely inaudible thirty minutes later. I pieces together the movies with VSO DivxtDVD then burnt it with Nero if that helps.
At what speed are you burning with? What brand of media are you using? Could be your d/l files were corrupt, anything's possible.
8X speed Fuji film DVD+R That’s the confusing thing, the original AVI. files play perfect on the computer.
[bold] [/bold] 8x speed is the maximum speed this particular dvdr will burn, however, you have the option of burning (Nero or whatever burning proggie you have) it between any speed of 1-8x. Take it down to 4x speed. Most stand alone dvd players have a hard time reading discs burned any faster. Post back with results. Good Luck!
After viewing the movie twice on a standard DVD player it stopped doing it…Very weird, it's like it caught up with it's self. I should have been more specific sorry, I use VSO to convert then DVD Shrink to burn and when viewing the preview in shrink it does the same thing before I even burn it which makes me wonder if it's something wrong with the conversion process in VSO. Weird thing is only the first and third movie's are doing it, the second one is just fine. Bare in mind that they all came in the same download and the original AVI's work perfectly.
