IP Banning

    I can force host but I don't know how to IP ban, Do I need to be host in order to IP ban?

    All I know is that you need ComView and ZoneAlarm Pro to lag people out. Sorry if I can't help you munch ...

    Maybe you can help me if you know how to force host ? My friend want to force host but he good a router do you know how to force host / bridge with a router ?

    to be able to IP Ban, you have to be host. So in any party that you are in, and want to IP Ban, you need two bridgers, and one of them must have a reliable connection. I'm pretty sure IP banning is just putting your opponents IP in the 'Not Trusted Zone' on Zone Alarm using the inforamtion you get form Commview. I still haven't been able to start bridging, but i'm getting there. when i do i'll hit ya up on XBL and we'll IP BAn all the modders(OR NONMODDERS, :)

    sounds good to me. I had soooo many hang ups when I bridged my network but the easiest way is to bridge is to have a LAN coming into the pc from the router and then a crossover cable connected to the USB port via an adapter (one that turns a USB into a Ethernet cable) and plug that into your xbox. Then go to network settings highlight the two, right click and then select bridge connections.

    the crossover cable can be picked up at best buy for 20 dollars and the adapter can be bought at egghead or some carry-all computer store.
