file ripping soft (not .vob)

    Hello,

    Is there a soft to rip files of a dvd media. I mean any type of file, nt just dvd.
    Of course, I could just copy the files in hard drive. But I'm looking for a software similar to EAC that will copy the files slowly, with lots of checks in order to get an EXACT copy of my files.

    Wouldn't Nero or Sonic's MyDvd be able to do that, providing it is not copy-protected? Of course, alittle more info might be helpful.
